The Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI) has launched the FSI Suraksha Index in 2019, a comprehensive benchmarking framework designed to evaluate and enhance fire and life safety preparedness across various sectors.
The Need for a Fire & Safety Index Most Fire incidents occur not because of absence of safety systems -but due to lack of proper assessment, maintenance, and accountability.
FSAI Suraksha Index helps identify gaps and deficiencies in fire, electrical, and security systems; assess compliance levels with applicable codes and regulations; and highlight opportunities for improvement and best practices.
