FSAI Mumbai Chapter, in collaboration with MCMCR (BMC), successfully inaugurated the MCMCR FSAI Skill Development Centre (MFSDC) on 1st July 2026 located at Powai,Mumbai.

The Centre was inaugurated by Shri Santosh Warick, Director, Maharashtra Fire Services, who emphasized the importance of structured training, continuous skill development, and industry collaboration to strengthen the fire and life safety sector.

The programme was led by Mr. Vinod Kapse (President, FSAI Mumbai Chapter), Ms. Kinnari Menon (Chairman – Training & Skill Development), Mr. Parag Momaya (Secretary, FSAI Mumbai Chapter), and Mr. Sunil Dhamne (Director, MCMCR) .

The event was graced by distinguished special invitees including Shri Ravindra Ambulgekar (Chief Fire Officer, Mumbai Fire Brigade), Mr. Dipen Mehta (FSAI National President-Elect), Mr. Srinivas Valluri (FSAI Immediate National Past President), Mr. Chintu Asher (FSAI National Treasurer), Mr. Suresh Menon (FSAI Presidential Member), and Mr. Ajit Raghavan (FSAI Presidential Member). Due to heavy rains the Additional Muncipal commisoner could not reach and addressed the audience via video message. 

This is a milestone achievement by Mumbai chapter towards creating an environment for  training and skill development and capacity building as per the road map chartered with the MCMCR .
